Atlanta Campus Director Sarah Lodato was recently quoted in a Venture Atlanta article about code schools in the South.
A key component of The Iron Yard experience is its teaching philosophy, which focuses on retraining the brain and teaching students to think like software engineers through critical problem-solving alongside the basics of syntax and semantics. “We have some people that enter our program that have development experience but aren’t that efficient as problem-solvers; we also have people who are unbelievable problem solvers but have never touched a bit of code,” says Atlanta Campus Director Sarah Lodato. “We love clean slates.”
