Coding Program for Kids Launches in Charleston

The students will build a Frogger-type video game on Scratch, an online program that lets users create interactive games, stories and animations and then share them with others in an online community.

The Iron Yard, which expanded from Greenville to Mount Pleasant earlier this year, is launching its first round of kids’ classes from its new hub near Shem Creek. It runs kids classes out of its Greenville and Spartanburg coding schools as well.
